As a parent myself and Headteacher, I am well aware of the pressures facing our young people as they grow up in today’s society.  The five years-plus that our students spend with us will be the foundation on which they build their futures in that society.  At Bradfield School we strive to deliver an education that supports them to fulfil their potential, and to be successful, confident people, who are equipped to explore what life and the world have to offer.  I firmly believe that school should also be fun – a place where the activities, teaching and facilities foster enthusiasm, enjoyment and strong relationships.  Happiness and success at school are closely related.  So, most of all I want our students to be happy to come to school and that is why we have built a school community that cares about their emotional and physical wellbeing.  Our beautiful Peak District surroundings and a wealth of opportunities, both inside and outside of the classroom, help to ensure that our students are happy to come to school each day.

Please use this website to learn more about us and our school.  I invite you to click on the video link to see our school or to contact us if you would like to learn more about our work.

We look forward to working with you in partnership and then you will be able to see why I believe that Bradfield School is a place where our students can learn, grow and thrive.
