Vacancy - Safeguarding and Inclusion Manager – to cover a maternity leave from May 2018 until May 2019 (end date subject to the return of the post holder)
Full Time (38 weeks, 37 hours per week)
Grade 7, SCP 27-32 (£28203 - £32164 Pro rata)

Starting May 2018 to cover a maternity leave, a Safeguarding and Inclusion Manager is required to manage a team of Pupil Support Officers and co-ordinate intervention for vulnerable students.  To engage with students across the year groups supporting them to overcome barriers to learning thereby enabling them to achieve their full learning and social skills potential, particularly with students requiring extra and extended support.  This post will involve working with families and external agencies.  The post holder will also support tutors and curriculum staff through information, advice and specialist support.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.
