Part Time Teacher of PE

SALARY:  MPS/UPS

From September 2017 Bradfield School will require an experienced and successful female teacher of PE.  The post is part-time (12 lessons per week out of 30, a 0.40 FTE contract) but permanent.

You will join a team of experienced practitioners, able to offer a new colleague advice and support in an environment which enables our staff and students to thrive.  Experience of teaching GCSE PE would be an advantage as would an interest in teaching trampolining and gymnastics. The successful candidate would also be expected to contribute to the extra-curricular PE program. There is the possibility of supply work at the school for the remaining part of the week.

In 2013 we were judged ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted.  They said about our students, “the students of Bradfield School are a real asset. They are invariably friendly, polite and courteous towards each other, visitors and their teachers. They are a credit to the school and their families. Consequently, the school is a well ordered and calm place of learning where relationships are warm, friendly and built upon a foundation of mutual respect”.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.
